For more than fourty years, the creative expression and the technical skills blend together and create Arti e Mestieri design objects for home. The creative process, on the other hand, draws inspiration from the most unexpected places. The creativity of Massimo Tani, the very first creative mind that animated Arti e Mestieri for years, nourished itself with playfulness. Together with him Francesco Adriano Pizzi, who until this day brings his point of view in the design of every single piece, adding his personal and refined vision to every collection.
All of it takes shape thanks to the only material used: iron. Essential and strong, iron is laser cut and mixed with colour to give a light and contemporary feel, which is stunning each time.
The origin and the realisation of a single object is never the same, each piece comes from a different story, from the will of telling worlds and dreams using shapes. And, most of all, from the desire to add its share to the practical aspect of objects. This is Arti e Mestieri.
That is the constant evolution of a style that has been rooted over time for over forty years. Each collection comes exclusively from the internal style office of the company which is constantly looking for inspirations coming from different universes every time.
Each piece is painted and then folded by hand. This process, unchanged for years, is the quintessence of craftsmanship applied to iron working. And it makes each piece different from the others precisely because it is folded by hand.
