Roberto Giacomucci vince il Compasso d’Oro 2025: un orgoglio per Arti&Mestieri

Our designer Roberto Giacomucci has achieved one of the most prestigious awards in the world of design: the Compasso d'Oro Award 2025, presented this year in Osaka during the Expo.

This international recognition fills us with pride and rewards his more than 35 years of research and dedication to design.

The Compasso d'Oro: the most prestigious award in Italian design

Established in 1954 by La Rinascente based on an idea by Gio Ponti and Alberto Rosselli, the Compasso d'Oro is the oldest design award in the world and the most important in Italy. In seventy years of history, it has crowned objects and projects that have become icons of Made in Italy, symbols of innovation and design culture.

Receiving it means entering a unique tradition that links the past, present and future of Italian design.

‘An emotion that marks a turning point in my career,’ said Roberto Giacomucci, emphasising how this award represents not only personal recognition, but also a moment of reflection on the path taken and the new challenges ahead.

A collaboration that continues to innovate

With us at Arti&Mestieri, Roberto Giacomucci has created numerous projects and products that have enriched our collections, bringing innovation, research and new perspectives. His ideas have helped redefine our identity, embracing our philosophy and transforming it into furnishing accessories that combine aesthetics and functionality.

This award is therefore not only a personal achievement, but also an indirect recognition of our shared journey, built on creativity and passion.

The Compasso d'Oro 2025 is a source of pride for the entire Arti&Mestieri team. We are delighted to share this success with Roberto Giacomucci, confident that together we will continue to develop collections that surprise, innovate and promote the excellence of Italian design.
