HOW MANY TIMES TO TWIST THE ROOM FRAGRANCE STICKS

The first important aspect in understanding how to use the room fragrance dispenser concerns the wick sticks. First of all, it is important to use all the sticks supplied with the pack; the number of sticks is calculated so that evaporation is homogeneous and constant. Using a smaller number encourages the evaporation of the essences directly from the neck of the bottle. When we are asked how to use the room fragrance dispenser, the first piece of advice we give is to always use all the sticks supplied with the package because doing otherwise reduces the life of the fragrance dispenser and loses the homogeneity of diffusion. For the first time you should keep the sticks in the bottle for at least 60 minutes and then turn them over, repeating the operation once or twice a day depending on how intense you want the fragrance to be.

WHERE TO PLACE FRAGRANCE DISPENSERS IN THE HOME

In order to have an appealing and balanced effect, it is important to know where to place room fragrance dispensers in the home. In general, we recommend placing fragrance dispensers in transit areas of the home, for example in the living room, entrance hall and corridors. Kezir's suggestion is to recreate a true olfactory pathway by choosing different essences for different rooms. The choice of the most suitable fragrance can be made by considering the way each room is experienced. Finally, we recommend never exposing the fragrance dispenser to direct sunlight or placing it near sources of heat, as heat promotes evaporation of the fragrance.

WHY CAN SOME PERFUMES CHANGE COLOUR SLIGHTLY OVER TIME?

Kezir fragrances are composed of a high percentage of natural essences that may undergo colour changes due to exposure to air and light. This possible change in no way affects the quality of the product, its scent and beneficial effects.

FRAGRANCE DURATION OF THE AIR FRESHENER

  • A 100 ml bottle can last at least 3 weeks.
  • A 250 ml bottle can last 2-3 months.
  • A 500 ml bottle can last 3-5 months.


The actual duration of a fragrance depends a lot on the environment in which it is placed. Dimensions, ceiling height, number and type of openings, room exposure, house ventilation, heating type, presence of air currents. Each of these aspects influences evaporation and consequently the duration of the air freshener.

To always have a constant effect and a homogeneous fragrance, we recommend always purchasing the refill of the same fragrance in order to add the essence to maintain the level at the bottle's curvature point. This simple precaution extends the life of the fragrance, which will evaporate only through the sticks and prevent dissimilar evaporation between the essence and the alcohol.


WHAT TO DO IF THE FRAGRANCE IS SPILLED

If you happen to spill the fragrance, the most important advice is to dry the surface as soon as possible, especially if it is a painted or wooden surface or a porous material like marble.

The fragrance is not harmful to the body and skin but is flammable, so the sticks should never be brought close to fire or ignited.

CAN THE STICKS BE REUSED?

The sticks can be reused for another refill of the same fragrance, but we recommend doing this operation a maximum of two times.

WHAT TO DO WHEN THE STICKS DRY OUT?

When the fragrance has completely evaporated, the sticks can still be used in another way, for example in furniture drawers, closets, laundry bins, or even in the car.
